December Month-Long Observance - National Learn a Foreign Language Month: Celebrated since at least 2009, National Learn a Foreign Language Month highlights the benefits of learning a second (or more) language. Some of these benefits include brain growth, better memory, better listening skills, higher verbal and non-verbal intelligence and improved attention span.
🎅Read a book that is published in more than one language, or that is set in a location whose primary language is different from your own.

🎅Read one book written by N.R. Walker or any author with her first or last name (or her pseudonym, A. Voyeur).

4. December 2 - National Skip School Day:
🎅Read a book with a prominent character who is a teacher or student (at any level), or who teaches or is learning something specific (could be a sports coach or young athlete, someone learning how to cook, etc. Feel free to use your imagination!). You may also read a book that includes any child in the storyline.

🎅Read a book that was a gift or that you received free in any way (library, KU, borrowed from a friend, etc.)
